据悉Intel不久就会发布Celeron E3400，处理器有1MB缓存和2.60GHz的频率，以及800MHz FSB，相比老款的2.0GHz 单核Celeron 440 可能快了近2倍，Celeron E3400是最新加入的双核Wolfdale 45nm核心的Celerons处理器。
根据Intel的测试，在DivX 6.7和VirtualDub 1.7.2中新的Celeron E3400比Celeron 440快了115%，在Itunes 8.2 Audio MP3 encoding测试中E3400比Celeron 440快了143%，在Web photo测试中新的Celeron E3400快了40%。
通过测试你可以清楚的看到，新的双核Celeron有很不错的性能，将会在1月17日发布，Celeron E3400只比的Celeron 440贵了。
